For owner-run wedding venues

The reel a couple watches before they ask for a tour.

You already paid a photographer. Your gallery has the ceremony lawn at golden hour, the barn set for a hundred and eighty, the suite the morning of. I cut that gallery into eight short reels a month, the way couples actually watch, so the next tour request comes from Instagram instead of a directory listing.

Or write to gabriel@automating.space. You hear back within one business day.

The first 48 hours

No shoot day. No crew on your lawn on a Saturday.

Every reel starts from one of your real photographs. Software generates the camera move, a slow glide into the space, and I check every frame against the photo before anything leaves my desk. The building, the trees, the light are yours. Only the motion is new.

You send the gallery link

Your website gallery is enough to start. If you have the photographer's full delivery, even better: more angles, more reels. I pick the frames that read well in motion: wide, still, well lit.

I cut the first reel within 48 hours

Fifteen to thirty seconds, hard cuts, no fades, no voiceover, a caption with your capacity and the season you are filling. You see it on a private page with your venue's name on it. The page is not listed anywhere and not indexed; only you have the link.

Two reels a week, every week

Ceremony, reception, the getting-ready suite, the grounds at dusk, the rain plan, the lodging. Each one answers a question a couple has before they ask for a tour. You post, or I schedule them for you.

We look at what booked tours

Once a month I send a one-page note: which reels were saved and shared, which ones brought inquiries, what to cut next. If nothing moves in two months, you stop. There is no contract.

What a month looks like

Eight answers to the questions couples ask before a tour.

Couples shortlist venues on their phones, and a tour request is the moment a scroll turns into a date on the calendar. Put your own venue fee next to $790 a month. That is the whole arithmetic.

Planned shot list for a concept reel I am cutting from the public gallery of a barn venue on a family tree farm in the Upstate of South Carolina. The owners have not been contacted yet, so the venue is not named here; they will see the reel first, on a private page with their name on it.

A barn venue
in the Upstate
Concept reel, 9:16
  1. The white barn and the lawn, daylight turning to dusk
  2. Along the lake toward the barn in the water
  3. Down the aisle between the pews to the treeline
  4. Under the trusses toward the chandelier
  5. The bridal suite, mirror to window
  6. The sandy path between the trees, to the light
Hard cuts. No fades. Nothing added to the frame.

I run a small studio in Hungary called Automating. Most of our work is building software that does one repetitive job well. First Look is the part of that studio that works with wedding venues: one product, one process, and me at the desk checking every frame and every caption before it goes out.

I work over email, in English, with venues in the United States and the United Kingdom. You will hear back within one business day, usually faster. If you would rather talk, I am happy to get on a call, but nothing here requires one.

Questions venue owners ask

Straight answers.

Is the video generated by AI?

The camera movement is. Each shot begins with one of your real photographs and a video model generates a slow move through that frame. I review every frame against the photograph and cut anything that invents a wall, a chair or a tree that is not in your venue. You always get this in writing. The end card says the motion is AI-assisted by default, so you never have to explain it; if you would rather post without the label on your own channels, say so and I leave it off. The concept sample always carries it.

Can you use our photographer's images?

Only if your venue holds the rights or a license to use them for marketing, which is the normal arrangement for the gallery on your own website. Some venues also have a styled-shoot agreement that covers this. If you are unsure, send me what you have and I will tell you which images I can use. Captions carry your photographer's credit, on the sample and on every reel after it.

We are busy every weekend. How much of our time does this take?

About fifteen minutes to send the gallery link and your logo, and about five minutes a week to approve reels, if you want to approve them. If you prefer, I post on a schedule for you after the first month.

Do we own the reels?

Yes. You get a perpetual, worldwide license to use, edit and share every reel for marketing your venue. Your photographs remain yours and are used only to make your reels.

What if we do not like the first reel?

One round of changes is included. If the first cut is not something you would post and a revision cannot fix it, your deposit is refunded and we part as friends.

Why did you cut a concept reel of our venue?

Because I would rather show you than describe it. The sample is cut from the photographs on your public website and lives on a private page that is not listed or indexed; only you have the link. It is labeled as a concept and never used to promote anything but the conversation with you. Reply with one word and it is gone within a day.
